It starts with a stray raindrop or flurry in the afternoon. It will be fairly quiet Friday evening before rain and snow start building around Hoquiam and Long Beach. By midnight, as temperatures drop again, scattered snow showers return to Olympia and Bellingham.

Western Washington woke up Thursday morning to snow once more, extending this wintry weather into the weekend.
