Jan 2, 2025 · CRIT signs historic water rights agreement. The Colorado River Indian Tribes community was joined Friday, April 26 by U.S. Interior Secretary Deb Haaland, Gov. Katie Hobbs, U.S. Sen. Mark Kelly and numerous other state and federal officials to sign a historic agreement allowing CRIT to lease and transfer their Colorado River water rights to off-reservation entities.
