Swansea University’s High Performance rugby programme involves our first team players competing in the British University and Colleges Sport (BUCS) Super Rugby leagues, known as BSR.

Swansea University Rugby Football Club is a Welsh amateur rugby union club based at Swansea University, Swansea. It competes in the BUCS Rugby Union Super Rugby League as of the 2021/2022 season. The club has experienced major success, winning the UAU Championship six times and the BUSA Championship twice.

SURFC is one of the largest and most successful clubs on campus. We have five teams competing in BUCS fixtures on a Wednesday with our first team competing in the national BUCS Super League, the highest level of university rugby in the UK.
