He even told them that they are able to leave the game and return to the real world if they collect all the cards, which is a lie fabricated by Hatter to maintain this false "hope". But clearly they didn’t arrive at the same time, some like the Hatter, Aguni and Chishiya arrived way before Arisu, Chota and Karube, but are there for the same reason.

According to u/MongolUB, Hatter said: "百戦錬磨のオレ", which means "I am toughened in 100 battles".
