In Sheriff of Nottingham, players will not only be able to experience Nottingham as a merchant of the city, but each turn one player will step into the shoes of the Sheriff himself. Players declare goods they wish to bring into the city, goods that are secretly stored in their burlap sack.

In Sheriff of Nottingham 2nd Edition, players take turns playing the Sheriff, looking for contraband goods, and the Merchants trying to stock their Stall with the best goods. Jan 3, 2017 · Unfortunately, as of August 1st, 2019 Arcane Wonders no longer holds the license for “Sheriff of Nottingham”. As such we do not have the ability to produce or sell the game, or any promo cards. So, AW no longer produce SoN and it should now be considered "out of print".

Jan 30, 2020 · That aside, I kind of like the new artwork, definitely wouldn't say its worse than the first edition, the Sheriff is now a bit less repellent.. kind of lol Anyway since they decided to announce the new edition they should really be more clear as to the changes/differences in the editions, as well as show some visualizations of the content.

This pack of promo cards contains one card in each player color. Each player starts the game with a Gambler's Risk. During the inspection phase, before you complete a deal, you may remove this card from play to double the penalty paid on that merchant bag, if it is inspected.
