May 6, 2020 · There's no secret Black family magic, and no character bashing, just a lot of character development and lots of ripples to the timeline. Watching Sirius do his flawed but sincere best to give Harry a childhood is really sweet. Books 1-4 are complete, book 5 is in progress. It's a bit over a million words thus far.

I thought the movie Bellatrix was more obviously ruthless and cunning (as she attacks Sirius behind his back), while the book Bellatrix, she might have been the same with others, but her little exchange with Sirius almost makes it feel like a more sibling rivalry and don't think she was actually planning to kill.
