4 Oct 2023 · The new $17.2 million South Australian State Basketball Centre has officially opened at the Adelaide Showground. Through the project build, an additional four courts have been added, inclusive of a FIBA Level 1 rated show court, taking the Wayville venue to a seven-court basketball facility overall.

State program tournaments include the Australian Junior Championships, East Coast Challenge, South Coast Challenge and Metro and Regional Jamboree’s which are run at various times throughout the calendar year.

Basketball State Championships are conducted by School Sport Victoria and are played at both Primary and Secondary school levels.

Premium courts and performance spaces to host basketball, gymnastics and more! The Knox Regional Sports Park in located at 291 George Street, Wantirna South. The site consists of 27 hectares of land incorporating the State Basketball Centre (SBC) and Knox Regional Football Centre (KRFC). SBC is open for bookings only.
