While our upcoming holiday open house reflects the culture of the original homeowner, some of us volunteers are Jewish. 😉 We strive to be an inclusive museum, and we will have more generally winter-themed craft materials available as well. ⛄️ Dr. Willella Howe-Waffle lived in an early Santa Ana in which Jews held important roles. In 1892, local Jewish lawyer Louis Aaron Mendelson bravely took on the job of defending Francisco Torres in a sad case that received quite a bit of press. 🗞
